The race to Net Zero isn't a sprint anymore. It’s a marathon, and the pace is picking up. ECCSEL ERIC is the world’s largest Research Infrastructure for CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage) and CDR (Carbon Dioxide Removal). We connect over 150 world-class research facilities across 7 European countries. We provide the physical hardware that scientists need to solve the climate crisis. But hardware needs software, networks need connectors, and big projects need structure. To support the European Industrial Carbon Management Strategy, we are expanding our Operations Centre (HQ) in Trondheim, Norway. We are looking for three exceptional talents to join our team. Are you one of them? We are currently accepting applications for the following permanent positions.
We need someone to turn the massive scientific output of our network into the intelligence that shapes our infrastructure. This is not a standard IT support role. It is a strategic position where you will architect the "digital backbone" of ECCSEL. You will define how data is collected across Europe, validate our impact, and drive initiatives in AI and digitalisation.
You are: Analytical, structured, and experienced (2+ years) in handling complex datasets.
The Goal: Bridge the gap between distributed facilities and centralized intelligence.

A research infrastructure is only as strong as the people connecting it. We need a central hub to keep our ecosystem of Ministries, Research Institutes, and Industry Stakeholders moving.
You will be the right hand to our Executive Director. One moment you are coordinating governance meetings with national representatives; the next, you are running a LinkedIn campaign about our newest facility. This is the perfect role for a communication pro who loves structure—or an admin pro who loves storytelling.
You are: A service-minded team player with a flair for both diplomacy and digital communication.
The Goal: Work at the intersection of collaboration, science, and strategy.

Big ambitions require big projects. To keep this massive infrastructure expanding, we rely on external funding and complex European grants.
You will work directly with our Director of Operations & Projects to ensure our portfolio runs smoothly. This is a high-exposure role where you will master the ins and outs of grant agreements, consortium management, and international collaboration.
You are: Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how the "EU Green Deal" is implemented on the ground.
The Goal: Drive the projects that power the energy transition.

International Environment: English is our corporate language. You will work with colleagues and partners from Italy, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, and beyond.
Impact: You aren't just watching the energy transition; you are building the infrastructure for it.
The Culture: We are a lean, flat organization. We avoid unnecessary bureaucracy, value initiative, and offer the famous Scandinavian work-life balance (including flexible hours and hybrid options).
